This is what you need to change out your front mid-arm suspension to front long arms; MetalCloak provides you with everything you need to complete the job. Thick 2.0 DOM .25 (1/4) wall steel lower control [click for more...] arms provide strength that can take abuse with forged threaded ends for the ultimate in durability. Upper control arms are 1.25DOM .1875 (3/16) and formed to provide clearance for up and down travel. Upper and Lower Control arms utilize our patented Duroflex bushings for bind free, service free articulation.
Fitted with Duroflex™ Joints, the only vulcanized elastomer, self-centering joint enhanced with DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber – providing incredible durability with more misalignment in the control arms and better vibration dampening than anything else available. Exclusive to MetalCloak (see detailed info in the main body).
MetalCloak Front JK Long Arm Frame Mounts are used in replacement of the factory mounts when installing the front lower control arms for a long arm suspension. Fully welded and boxed for strength, the 1/4" steel brackets are low profile for clearance and are finished in gold zinc for a long lasting finish.
Choose between the
Upper Front Long Arm Bolt-on OR Weld-on Mounts. The upper front mounts are fully welded and boxed for strength, the 1/4" hot rolled steel brackets are low profile for clearance. The Bolt-On brackets come in MetalCloak's signature gold zinc while the Weld-On mounts come in raw metal for your own custom finish. The choice is yours!
This system requires cutting off the factory front control arm brackets and is for the Off-Roader that demands precision when it comes to wheelbase and pinon angles.
MetalCloak's Front Long Arm will feature our best high speed handling properties for on and off-road and the Front Four Link Long Arm System is made in the USA.
Note: Exhaust modification may be required on all 2007-2011 JKs to install this kit to clear the lower front control arm mounts.

MetalCloak has taken the best features of the most widely used control arm joints and combined those features to create the Duroflex Joint, producing a Low-Maintenance, High-Misalignment (34˚), Self-Centering, Rebuildable Joint with an OEM quality ride.

DuPont™ Kevlar® Fiber is now compounded in the proprietary elastomer of the Duroflex Bushing, bringing even more strength, durability and performance.
Kevlar® is a synthetic fiber with extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio…five times stronger than steel and commonly used in bullet proof armor applications.
Duroflex Bushings w/Kevlar® can be identified by the Metalcloak “M” located on the outer surface.
Control Arm Duroflex Joint Alignment...
At MetalCloak we take the care to build every product right.
Most manufacturers build their control arms misaligned from center. Why? It simply costs less to do so.
By not cutting any corners, our joints are Centered and Aligned reducing wear and improving performance.
It makes them easier to install, too!
Lower Front 4-Link Long Arms
The Lower Front Control Arms are precision engineered for our 4-link front suspension. Mounted using a bolt-on bracket, the control arms are designed for lift heights of 4.5 and up, provide amazing flex, the best pinion angle control for taller lifts, and still give incredible handling and the smoothest ride on or off road.
Upper Front 4-Link Long Arms
The Upper Front Control Arms are installed using a welded-on bracket for precise geometry.
Equipped with the Duroflex™ joints at the frame-end, the arms use the stock bushings or the MetaCloak Bushing Upgrade kit (not included) at the axle end.

The adjustable threaded ends are Forged providing a 37% higher fatigue strength over inferior cast parts, this EXTRA rock bashing strength will hold up to whatever you throw at em.
