The doors securely latch into place with an OE type mechanism that is reinforced with a laser cut "M" logo steel backing plate; the latch is released via an integrated cable actuated handle that provides a clean and custom look.
Doors are attached to the Jeep with 3/16" steel hinge-plates with machined stainless steel hinge pins that drop into to factory receptacle and have threaded backs to secure the doors to the Jeep. Heavy-duty poly webbed straps are included to limit the swing movement of the door.

TJ/LJ Front Tube Doors
MetalCloak Front Aluminum Open Frame Tube Doors are the Superior choice when opting for open air wheeling in your Jeep TJ/LJ; the open frame design allows for the best visual on obstacles while the light-weight aluminum structure shaves pounds off your Jeep.
Attachment Points
Doors are attached to the Jeep with steel hinge-plates with machined stainless steel hinge pins that drop into to factory receptacle and have threaded backs to secure the doors to the Jeep.
Compression Grip Actuator
Concealed with tactful ergonomics, the grip actuator mechanism tucks into a milled slot in the underside of the door. The ideal placement provides a snag free, positive activation for the remote rotary door latch and accentuates the custom styling of your Jeep.
Rotary Latch
The rotary latch provides secure engagement with "push to close" convenience giving a solid OE feel when opening or shutting the door. The rotary latch fully envelops the factory door striker bolt for a secure connection.
Elastomer door stops are built into the latch assembly and allow adjustment to fine tune the force required to connect the striker and the latch. The threaded adjustment is a simple and effective way to ensure the doors close with a feel that meets your expectation.
The combination of the adjustable elastomer door stop and rotary latch provide secure closure with a rattle free experience for on or off-road.
Optional Mirror Kit
Designed as replacement mirrors for the Jeep TJ/LJ Wranglers; we found these to be ideal for the MetalCloak Open Frame Tube Doors. Solid 3 bolt mount, 4 position articulating arm, and a positional mirror for the perfect angle with strong staying power that does not shake out of position when off-road.
