MetalCloak's Front Axle Disconnect Skid Plate System/Stabilizer Relocation package for the Jeep JT Gladiator and JL Wrangler is designed to replace the weak/thin factory skid providing additional protection for the Front Axle Disconnect and relocates the steering damper up and out of harms way.

The optional billet mount is a two piece aluminum design, is simple to install, and allows you to position the stabilizer for maximum performance. Finished in anodized black with a laser engraved "M" around the recessed bolt holes for a clean and custom look.
Note: Steering Stabilizer Relocation Brackets are required to install the FAD Skid. You already have aftermarket steering stabilizer brackets you can purchase just the FAD skid plate here.

THE TECH
JL Wrangler/JT Gladiator Front Axle Disconnect Skid
The JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator has a low hanging axle disconnect box located off the rear side of the front axle on the passenger side. This system comes with a 3/16" Skid Plate to protect this important piece of equipment and Steering Stabilizer Relocation (S/R) brackets to move the stabilizer up and out of harms way.

Standard Tie Rod Mount
Attaches the steering stabilizer to the tie rod allowing it to be re-positioned up and out harms way.

The MetalCloak Billet Steering Stabilizer Tie Rod Mount is designed for the MetalCloak JK Wrangler, JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator Tie Rod. The billet clamp is fitted for 1.625" outer diameter.

Steering Stabilizer Axle Side Mount
The MetalCloak JL/JT Steering Stabilizer Axle Side Mount relocates the axle side of the steering stabilizer to better protect the steering stabilizer from debris by moving the stabilizer up and out of harms way from where the factory steering stabilizer is mounted. The steering stabilizer axle side mount requires a minimum 2" lift.
