Swing-gate quick release lock pins hold tire carrier securely and feature push button attachment and release; additional Push Button T-Handles can be optioned to replace the bolt together fasteners altogether to allow for a"tool-less" release system where the entire Tire Carrier may be removed. This tire carrier will not shake or rattle and can handle whatever you throw at it.
Note: The tub mount tire carrier system requires corner guards.

Tub-Mount Tire Carrier for the TJ/LJ Jeep Wrangler; the strongest, no compromise design available to carry a spare tire on your Jeep. The MetalCloak TJ/LJ tub mount is made strong with 1.50 x .120 wall steel tube and strengthened with 3/16" steel plate.
Swing Out
Fully Adjustable Wheel Mount
This is an adjustable bracket piece that allows your custom backspaced wheel to mount securely onto the tub mount tire carrier.
Laser cut steel for a great fit and powder-coated for a clean, long lasting finish.
Oversized Tire? No Problem
The Tub-Mount Tire Carrier includes everything you need to mount an over-sized spare tire securely on your TJ/LJ Wrangler.
The Delrin Bushings
The Delrin ™ Bushing is made with black round bar Delrin. The Delrin two part bushing is comprised of two pieces that screw together making this bushing simple to install without a press. The Delrin bushing is strong and rigid providing a high resistance to repeated impacts, long-term fatigue endurance, and has excellent resistance to moisture.
Removable Pins
Comes with quick release T-Handle lock pins that hold the tire carrier securely and have a push button attachment and release.
Swing Out Stop Pin
The swing out utilizes a simple Stop Pin that may be put in two different positions keeping from swinging open too far or closing inadvertently. Stop the swing out at 90 degree or 180 degree from gate.
Accessories Mount
Two locations allow you to mount RotoPax or like style (1 - 2 Gallon) containers along with a Hi-lift Jack or shovel to the back of your Jeep TJ or LJ. Accessories attach behind the spare tire to keep them out of sight and provide additional protection from hazards.
