[00:05] Hi everybody, I'm Scott Becker from MetalCloak and I'm here to tell you about our new TubMount Tire Carrier for the TJ and LJ Jeep Wranglers.
[00:13] With this tire carrier, you can choose to bring your spare with you or not, whether you're daily driving or out on the trail.
[00:21] The stout carrier is designed with a tool-less release feature.
[00:24] The option for additional quick release pins will allow you to remove the carrier or add it back without hassle.
[00:30] And if that's not something you want, well, it comes standard with the hardware to be bolted on one side for a more typical function. It's your choice.
[00:39] And speaking of choice, the tool-less quick release pins will allow the carrier to swing out to either the driver's or passenger's side.
[00:48] With optional quick release pins, you can remove the tire carrier completely.
[00:54] The swing out includes simple stop pins that may be put in two different positions to keep the tire carrier from swinging too far or from closing accidentally.
[01:03] The swing out is preset to stop at a 90 or 180 degree angle from the gate. It's your choice.
[01:10] At the heart of our swing out tire carrier is our Delrin bushing.
[01:14] You see typical tire carriers rattle and shake, not MetalCloaks.
[01:19] We utilize Delrin polymer bushings on all four contact points.
[01:23] Each bushing is comprised of two parts that fasten together with screws, making this bushing simple to install without a need for a press.
[01:31] The Delrin bushing is strong and rigid, providing a very high resistance to repeated impacts, has long-term fatigue endurance, and has excellent resistance to moisture.
[01:41] Space is efficiently used on the carrier with provisions for accessories.
[01:46] Two locations directly behind the spare allow for mounting Roto-pax or similar styled containers.
[01:52] And up top, a mounting location for a high lift jack or an axe or shovel are integrated into the system.
[01:59] The accessories attach behind the spare tire to keep them best protected from trail abuse and keep them safely out of sight.
[02:08] Our Tub Mount Tire Carrier features a fully adjustable wheel mount that will easily hold up to a 40" tires weight and more.
