This is what you want to change out your suspension to rear long arms, MetalCloak provides you with everything you need. Thick 2.0 DOM .25 (1/4) wall steel lower control arms provide strength that can [click for more...] take abuse with forged threaded ends for the ultimate in durability. Upper control arms are 1.5DOM .1875 (3/16) and formed to provide clearance for up and down travel. Upper and Lower Control arms utilize our patented Duroflex bushings for bind free, service free articulation.

Rear "BOLT-ON" Control arm brackets are formed of 1/4 Steel Plate and angled to slide over obstacles with out catching.

This system requires cutting off the factory rear control arm brackets and is for the Rock Crawler that demands precision when it comes to wheelbase and pinon angles.

MetalCloak's Rear Long Arm will feature our best high speed handling properties for on and off-road and will increase a CTI score over similar height DB3 system. The "Bolt-On" Rear Long Arm system is made in the USA.

The Patented Duroflex™ Joint (metalcloakpatents.com) is the key to getting the greatest flex in a bolt-on suspension kit. Period.

MetalCloak has taken the best features of the most widely used control arm joints and combined those features to create the Duroflex Joint, producing a Low-Maintenance, High-Misalignment (34˚), Self-Centering, Rebuildable Joint with an OEM quality ride.

DuPont™ Kevlar® Fiber is now compounded in the proprietary elastomer of the Duroflex Bushing, bringing even more strength, durability and performance.

Kevlar® is a synthetic fiber with extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio…five times stronger than steel and commonly used in bullet proof armor applications.

Control Arm Duroflex Joint Alignment...

Most manufacturers build their control arms misaligned from center. Why? It simply costs less to do so.

By not cutting any corners, our joints are Centered and Aligned reducing wear and improving performance.

It makes them easier to install, too!
