Our simple to install, Bolt-On bracket re-positions the [click for more...] rear control arms to operate within a corrected radius. This system drastically reduces the feel of bump-steer/axle steer on lifted Jeeps and provides handling characteristics comparable, if not better than a stock height Jeep.

Approach Angles and Ride Quality

The DB3 provides superior control arm angles for a better ride AND provides better approach angles over a rear long arm all in a simple bolt on application.

Correction Bracket Features

This product adjust the roll center of your Jeep, and corrects the geometry of the control arms enabling the full use of up and down travel.

The entire bracket assembly is welded together for incredible strength, has built in approach skids, and all surfaces are angled to keep from catching on obstacles. Installs into factory locations - bolting securely in place.

What Does It Do?

Adding this system improves rear control arm geometry and adjusts rear axle caster for lifted JK Wranglers. The flatter the control arms are the better; the benefits are immediately felt with a smoother ride and stable handling as the roll center has been adjusted. Braking performance also improves maximizing safety along with the comfort and performance of your Jeep JK Wrangler.

CUSTOMER QUESTIONS
Why won't the DB3 Bracket work on a 392?
The DB3 Bracket will not work on a 392 because the rear arm brackets are mounted lower on the frame, in order to address geometry issues from the factory.
Why will the "DB3" Rear Control Arm Correction Bracket not work with the stocks arms?
The adjustable arms are needed for pinion angle and wheelbase correction.
Can this be used with stock length control arms?
No, you will need adjustable arms to control the wheelbase and pinion angle. These are not like front control arm drops (Pro'lignment Brackets) that are designed for use with the stock arms.
Would this work with your 2.5" gamechanger lift (already installed) on a 2 door JK? I have the red rocksport shocks and 37's if that matters.
We recommend the DB3 is used on JK’s with 4.5” and taller kit and JL’s with 3.5” and taller. For lower lifts the adjustable Duroflex Control Arms work can be dialed in for the best ride quality without adding the DB3.
Will these work with Teraflex fixed (non-adjustable) rear upper and lower control arms?
The DB3 Rear Control Arm geometry correction brackets are designed to work with Adjustable control arms in order to ensure proper axle placement and pinion angle.
By how many inches does it lower the oem support of the wrangler jk?
The Metalcloak DB3 lowers the arms 3” and corrects the geometry for taller lifts.
