  • Height adjustable bump stops
The MetalCloak Game Changing Duroflex™ Joints are the only vulcanized elastomer, self-centering joints enhanced with [click for more...] DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber, delivering unmatched durability. These joints allow for more misalignment in the control arms and superior vibration dampening compared to anything else available. Exclusive to MetalCloak (see detailed info in the main body).

True Dual Rate™ Coils deliver the most comfortable and stable ride, outperforming traditional single-rate lift springs and providing better load handling than typical "progressive/multi-rate" coils. These coils are extra long in free-length, ensuring contact during extreme articulation. With over a decade of proven performance, MetalCloak's True Dual Rate coils are designed for ultimate durability.

The MetalCloak Thermoset Elastomer Coil Isolator upgrade pads are built to last and outshine factory parts. Specifically designed for MetalCloak True Dual Rate Coils, these model-specific pads ensure the perfect fit and top-tier performance.

Durotrak bushings reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), offering a smoother ride while improving your vehicle’s steering response. The patented track bar bushings feature a 2-part design that rotates 360 degrees in a vertical plane, minimizing horizontal forces to keep your Jeep’s axle centered and on course.

With MetalCloak, you have the freedom to choose the shock setup that fits your needs. While MetalCloak suspensions are optimized for use with our MetalCloak-tuned Shocks for maximum up-and-down travel, our exclusive RockSport Shocks (available only at MetalCloak) offer longer travel in a standard shock design, sharing the same valving as our premier 6Paks. This is the perfect option for a high-performance, low-maintenance solution at an unbeatable price. If you prefer, we also offer the Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks, which provide great performance with limited travel. You can buy the suspension with or without shocks and add any shocks you choose.

Our adjustable height front and rear bump stops are a MetalCloak first, giving you the ability to fine-tune travel based on your tire size. Easily add or remove bump stop to achieve the clearance you need without removing the coils.

This 2.5" entry-level lift kit is packed with top-level components, providing added clearance for larger tires, an incredibly smooth ride, and unbeatable value. It offers an affordable option for Jeep enthusiasts looking to upgrade while still leaving room for future improvements with MetalCloak's Game Changer components.

MetalCloak's patented components are FMVSS safety-certified, tested with 37-inch tires, full body armor, and a suspension lift, proving their safety and reliability for your Jeep.

Note: All 2012+ JK Wranglers will require either exhaust spacers or a driveshaft. Please see what’s this on front driveshaft clearance option.

Note: MetalCloak engineers have chosen shocks that have been proven to have the ideal synergy with our systems. We have not tested other shocks on the market as to whether they complement our Game-Changer system or suppress its performance. We Recommend You Have a Suspension Specialist Align Your Jeep Once a MetalCloak suspension has been Installed.

Note: MetalCloak Recommends You Have a Suspension Specialist Align Your Jeep Once MetalCloak Suspension is Installed.

Note: MetalCloak does not recommend powder coating your True Dual Rate Coils. See instructions for additional details.

Note: This item is being offered as a complete system that contains all the components shown. We cannot customize, replace or remove a component from the kit. If you need a custom order, all components are available individually and our sales team is happy to help you place your order.

Duroflex Joint Revealed

The MetalCloak Duroflex Joint gives better dampening properties over OEM style rubber Clevite Joints and provides more misalignment than “other” inferior Flex Joints.

Vibration Dampening

We tested our Duroflex Joint using a "Shaker Table" and seismometer app to show how much Vibration Dampening the Duroflex Joint gives you compared to other industry leading joints.

A Comparison of Flex

Comparing the Flex of the Duroflex Joint with that of the Johnny Joint, the Teraflex Monster and the typical Clevite.

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE BUSHINGS

The Patented Duroflex™ Joint (metalcloakpatents.com) is the key to getting the greatest flex in a bolt-on suspension kit. Period.

A graphical comparison of an OEM Clevite plus a typical Flex Joint equaling a MetalCloak Duroflex Joint.

MetalCloak has taken the best features of the most widely used control arm joints and combined those features to create the Duroflex Joint, producing a Low-Maintenance, High-Misalignment (34˚), Self-Centering, Rebuildable Joint with an OEM quality ride.

Now with Kevlar!

DuPont™ Kevlar® Fiber is now compounded in the proprietary elastomer of the Duroflex Bushing, bringing even more strength, durability and performance.

Kevlar® is a synthetic fiber with extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio…five times stronger than steel and commonly used in bullet proof armor applications.

Duroflex Bushings w/Kevlar® can be identified by the MetalCloak “M” located on the outer surface.

Control Arm Duroflex Joint Alignment...

At MetalCloak we take the care to build every product right.

Most manufacturers build their control arms misaligned from center. Why? It simply costs less to do so.

By not cutting any corners, our joints are Centered and Aligned reducing wear and improving performance.

It makes them easier to install, too!

What are True Dual Rate Coils?

MetalCloak JK Wrangler True Dual Rate™ Coils have one of the longest free length in the industry for greater articulation without sacrificing the OEM ride quality.

Without the advantage of the Dual Rate Design, the required Spring Rate would be too low and "squishy" -- just loading your Jeep up with supplies would affect ride height and quality. (Learn More About True Dual Rate Coils)

The Patented Durotrak Bushing (metalcloakpatents.com) is a NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) bushing made with a proprietary elastomer compound unique to MetalCloak. The Durotrak two part bushing is comprised of two pieces that thread together making this bushing simple to install without a press, reduces vibration and harshness transferred to the driver, and improves vehicle steering input.
