JK Wrangler 2.5" True Dual Rate Lift Kits
- DuroFlex™ Joints enhanced with Kevlar
- True Dual Rate™ Coils
- Durotrak equipped front track bar
- Specifically tuned shocks for True Dual Rate™ Coils
- Height adjustable bump stops
True Dual Rate™ Coils provides the most comfortable and stable ride over traditional single rate lift springs, and provide better load handling than the typical "progressive/multi-rate" coils. Our True Dual Rate coils are extra long in free-length to maintain contact for extreme articulation. MetalCloak has over a decade of proven dual-rate coil performance.
The Durotrak bushings reduce NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) that can be transferred to the driver and provides a smoother ride while also improving the vehicles steering input. The patented track bar bushings are a 2-part design that can rotate 360 degrees in a vertical plane unhindered while minimizing horizontal forces to keep the Jeeps axle centered and you going in the right direction.
We offer a choice in shocks; run the shock set-up you choose to fit your build needs. If you have a different idea of what shocks will work best for you- go for it. MetalCloak suspensions ARE designed to optimally be used with the patented MetalCloak tuned Shocks that provide maximum up and down travel. Our RockSport Shocks (Exclusively at MetalCloak) provide longer travel featured in a standard shock design and share the same valving as our premiere 6Paks; this is THE option if looking for great shocks at a fantastic price, also offered are the Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks that have limited travel comparably, but perform well. The choice is yours to buy the suspension with or without shocks and then add any whatever shock you choose.
Adjustable height front and rear bump stops are a MetalCloak first and allow you to adjust the travel to be tailored to the size of tire you have optioned for. Add more bump stop or remove to adjust to the clearance you need without having to remove the coils.
This is an entry-level kit comprised of top level parts -- a 2.5" lift kit, that gives you added clearance for larger tires, unprecedented ride quality, at an affordable price, and allows you to build upon the kit if you ever desire to improve off-road performance with Game Changer components.
MetalCloak patented components have been proven safe with the FMVSS certificate of safety; test done while configured with 37inch tires, full body armor and suspension lift..
Note: MetalCloak engineers have chosen shocks that have been proven to have the ideal synergy with our systems. We have not tested other shocks on the market as to whether they complement our Game-Changer system or suppress its performance. We Recommend You Have a Suspension Specialist Align Your Jeep Once a MetalCloak suspension has been Installed.
Note: All 2012+ JK Wrangler will require exhaust spacers (7078) for clearance for the front drive shaft.
Note: MetalCloak Recommends You Have a Suspension Specialist Align Your Jeep Once MetalCloak Suspension is Installed.
Note: MetalCloak does not recommend powder coating your True Dual Rate Coils. See instructions for additional details.

Duroflex Joint Revealed
The MetalCloak Duroflex Joint takes the best qualities of OEM style Clevite Joint and the popular Johnny Joint style Flex Joint and combines them.
We tested our Duroflex Joint using a "Shaker Table" and seismometer app to show how much Vibration Dampening the Duroflex Joint gives you compared to other industry leading joints.

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE BUSHINGS
The Patented Duroflex™ Joint (metalcloakpatents.com) is the key to getting the greatest flex in a JK Wrangler bolt-on suspension kit. Period.
MetalCloak has taken the best features of the most widely used control arm joints and combined those features to create the Duroflex Joint, producing a Low-Maintenance, High-Misalignment (34˚), Self-Centering, Rebuildable Joint with an OEM quality ride.
Now with Kevlar!
DuPont™ Kevlar® Fiber is now compounded in the proprietary elastomer of the Duroflex Bushing, bringing even more strength, durability and performance.
Kevlar® is a synthetic fiber with extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio…five times stronger than steel and commonly used in bullet proof armor applications.
Duroflex Bushings w/Kevlar® can be identified by the Metalcloak “M” located on the outer surface.
Control Arm Duroflex Joint Alignment...
At MetalCloak we take the care to build every product right.
Most manufacturers build their control arms misaligned from center. Why? It simply costs less to do so.
By not cutting any corners, our joints are Centered and Aligned reducing wear and improving performance.
It makes them easier to install, too!

What are True Dual Rate Coils?
MetalCloak JK Wrangler True Dual Rate™ Coils have one of the longest free length in the industry for greater articulation without sacrificing the OEM ride quality.
Without the advantage of the Dual Rate Design, the required Spring Rate would be too low and "squishy" -- just loading your Jeep up with supplies would affect ride height and quality. (Learn More About True Dual Rate Coils)
Not just any track bar bushing...meet the Patented Durotrak
The Patented Durotrak ™ Bushing (metalcloakpatents.com) is a NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) bushing made with a proprietary elastomer compound unique to MetalCloak. The Durotrak™ two part bushing is comprised of two pieces that thread together making this bushing simple to install without a press, reduces vibration and harshness transferred to the driver, and improves vehicle steering input. Solid Chromoly front track bar keeps you... well.. on track
Formed for ultimate Up-Travel & Down-Travel the JK Wrangler Front Track Bar gives unprecedented strength, clearance, and improved ride stability.
Rear Bolt on bracket is a key component
The rear relocation and clearance track bar bracket provides what it takes to allow the track bar to keep your axle centered properly under your Jeep.
