It's about choice. Use any shock set-up you choose; MetalCloak provides recommended shock options for ultimate performance:
Is your JK a 4 Door Unlimited or a 2 Door? This option determines what Coils we are sending you for your build.
Is your Jeep a Rubicon with the electronic sway bar or does it have the solid sway bar? Knowing this helps us send you either a Sway Bar Extension (Rubicon) or a Quick Disconnect. Quick disconnects have more components so they have a slightly higher cost.
Note, Quick Disconnects will not fit on Rubicon Edition sway bars. The bolts are different sizes.
Backspace is the measurement from the back edge of the wheel to the inside mounting surface [bolt holes] of the wheel. More backspace [larger number] indicates that the wheel tucks further into the wheel well and closer to the suspension parts which increases the risk of rubbing. Less backspace [small number] indicates that the wheel protrudes away from the wheel well and therefore reduces the risk of rubbing.
The price difference represents the difference in components that we supply you.
If you're not sure what your backspacing is, choose the "> 4.5" option" as it can be used for most builds.
This information will help us provide the proper parts for your suspension and eliminate interference problems.
