The Durotrak adjustable front track bar for the [click for more...] Jeep JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator is built with Patented Durotrak 2 piece bushings that are mounted on both sides of the Solid 1.25 OD 4130 Chromoly bar. The bar is finished in gold zinc for the ultimate in durability against the elements.

The Durotrak bushing is housed in a forged adjustable end providing a 37% higher fatigue strength over inferior cast parts, this EXTRA rock bashing strength will hold up to whatever you throw at em.

MetalCloak “components” have been proven safe with the FMVSS certificate of safety configured with 37" tires, full body armor and suspension lift.

Note: The MetalCloak Front Durotrak Track Bar does not work at stock height.

THE TECH

Not just any track bar bushing...meet the Patented Durotrak

The Patented Durotrak Bushing (metalcloakpatents.com) is a NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) bushing made with a proprietary elastomer compound unique to MetalCloak. The Durotrak two part bushing is comprised of two pieces that thread together making this bushing simple to install without a press, reduces vibration and harshness transferred to the driver, and improves vehicle steering input.

Solid Chromoly track bars keeps you... well.. on track

The Solid Chromoly track bar is uniquely designed to clear on up-travel as well as down-travel AND fit aftermarket housings (Dana 60). No other track bar is designed with this much clearance and up-travel in mind.

CUSTOMER QUESTIONS
What length should I start my track bar at?
You will want to set it so the axle is centered under the frame at ride height. This will normally require the track bar to be slightly longer than stock.
Whats the min lift required to fit this track bar? Will it work with a leveling kit? (1.5”)
The track bar requires 2” bump stop over stock. This will work with some leveling kits.
What size lift is needed to install this Durotrak Track Bar on a 2020 Gladiator?
The track bar requires at least 2” of lift.
Will this Front Durotrak Track Bar work with the Accuair 4" dynamic lift on a Jeep Gladiator?
Yes, it works well and we have a few customers that are running it with that setup.
Will this work on a Rubicon that has a 2" spring lift? Sorry if this is a redundant question but a Rubicon stock height seems to be hard to compare with non Rubicon models.
That is correct. It does require the added lift on the Rubicon models as well.
Do you sell a passenger side mounting bracket for you Durotrak Track Bar, Solid Chromoly, Front, JL Wrangler?
We do offer a raised mount for the passenger side if you are running a 4.5” or taller kit. This allows you to run a drag link flip to correct for the height. The bracket is part number 7307 or 7285.
Since this requires 2" bumpstop, will this work on a stock 392 w/ 35's as it has 2" front bumpstop stock?
Yes, On the 392’s and XR packages the front track bar will clear due to the longer bump stops.
Th Mojave comes stock from factory witha 1.5" front lift, does this work with a stock height mojave?
The Mojave will require the additional lifted clearance to ensure proper fitment.
Will this work on a Mojave with a 1.5 inch over stock? As the Mojave has a 1.5 from Factory + 1.5 aftermarket.
It will work if the 1.5” kit includes matching bump stop extensions. If it does not extend the bump stops, you may get contact with the differential cover.
You say 2” extended bump stops. I’m putting on a 2” Mojave spacer lift (includes bump stops) but later changing to longer springs and shocks, and won’t have bump stop extensions. Will this work?
The added bump stops for your spacer kit will work as well as the ones that the longer shocks planned later would require.
