The Duroflex™ Joints are housed in forged adjustable ends threaded into 1.625" OD x .25" wall DOM steel tubing. Adjustable length allows pinion angle correction, while precision locking nuts secure the adjustment.
An engineered bend provides clearance at the extremes of articulation. MetalCloak's signature gold zinc finish helps protect the control arms against corrosion and the elements.
MetalCloak suspension components have been tested for FMVSS 126 compliance in a vehicle configuration equipped with 37" tires, full body armor, and a suspension lift.
Compatibility: Fits 2024+ Toyota Tacoma 4G, 2023+ Toyota Sequoia, and 2022+ Toyota Tundra.

THE TECH
It All Starts with the Bushings
The patented Duroflex™ Joint (metalcloakpatents.com) combines ride comfort with the articulation needed for a flexible bolt-on suspension system.
MetalCloak combines the features of widely used control arm joints in a low-maintenance, self-centering, rebuildable design with 34° of misalignment and an OEM-quality ride.
Reinforced with Kevlar®
DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber is compounded into MetalCloak's proprietary Duroflex™ elastomer for added strength and durability.
Duroflex™ Bushings containing Kevlar® can be identified by the MetalCloak “M” on the outer surface.
Duroflex™ Joint Features
Vibration Damping & Self-Centering
The proprietary elastomer compound absorbs vibration and allows the joint to return to center, helping provide:
- Comfortable Ride Quality
- Suspension Articulation Without Binding
- Reduced Wear from Small Suspension Movements
High Misalignment
The Duroflex™ Joint allows substantial angular movement for suspension articulation.
- Over 34° of Misalignment per Joint
- Over 68° per Control Arm
Absorbs Micro-Movements
The Duroflex™ Bushing absorbs small rotational movements during daily driving, helping improve ride quality and reduce joint wear.
True Bearing Surface
The outer surface of the Duroflex™ Bushing acts as a bearing, allowing rotation when needed for articulation without binding the control arms.
Low Maintenance & Rebuildable
Duroflex™ Joints are designed for straightforward servicing. Remove the bushing, clean and inspect the components, apply fresh Teflon-impregnated synthetic silicone grease, and reassemble. Replace worn components as needed.
Forged for Strength
Forged threaded ends provide strength for demanding off-road use while allowing control arm length adjustment. Precision locking nuts secure the adjustment.
