The stabilizer comes with a simple to use six-position adjustment knob to change the compression settings with ease, no tools required. Choose from 6 settings that add an additional 10% compression force at each click to tune in your Gold Standard. The adjustment knob provides precise tuning to match vehicle setup and driving conditions. Whether dialing in lighter damping for daily driving or firmer control for oversized tires and aggressive terrain, adjustments can be made quickly without removing the stabilizer.
The steering stabilizer reservoir can be clocked to accommodate unique clearance requirements, making it ideal for custom suspension layouts and high articulation builds. This flexibility allows optimal fitment around track bars, tie rods, and other steering components without compromising performance or travel.
The shaft is finished in a titanium nitride coating (TiNi) to reduce friction and wear at the sealing surfaces, resulting in a smoother operation as well as improved longevity. The low-friction surface allows the stabilizer to react quickly to steering inputs and impacts, delivering consistent damping while standing up to dirt and repeated high-load cycles.
The Stabilizer Body is finished in a mil-spec type III HARD anodized black infinity finish for durability in harsh environments. It provides increased resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and trail debris while maintaining a clean, understated look.
The Stabilizer comes with a two piece designed, CNC formed, aluminum billet tie rod mount. the mount was designed specifically for the MetalCloak tie rod for the Jeep JK/JL/JT but will fit any 1.625" OD tie rod(call in for different size clamp mount). The tie rod mount has recessed bolt hole locations to protect the hardware from damage and is finished in a anodized black for a clean look.

MetalCloak ball joints start with Chromoly Spindle & Ball with Induction Hardened surface strength that resists wear and provides a maximized bearing area to distribute force loads; the material gives superior ability to absorb energy without fracture over inferior materials.
Composite bearing sleeve slide over the spindle to handle shock loads and are the most resistant to deformation. Ball and spindle are both load bearing and utilize metal-on-metal strength captured with Tool Steel Races that eliminate memory steer and are long lasting.
Both upper and lower joints are adjustable for preload tension, have recessed zerk fittings for servicing and are sealed with multiple Buna-N Rubber O-Rings along with wiper seals on the shafts to keep contaminants out and grease in.
Aluminum lock nut and Thread on Top Cap capture the joints so there is no possibility of pulling the joints out of the C.

Billet Mount Captured Bolt Design
The RockSport Black Steering Stabilizer uses a through-bolt tie rod mount captured by a nut rather than threaded aluminum, eliminating thread loading to reduce stress risers and improve long-term durability. When installed, the bolt is positively captured by the tie rod and top-side nut to prevent the clamp bracket from becoming unsecured. A retained spherical bearing inside the clamp supports the bolt, allowing smooth articulation while isolating clamp forces from the aluminum mount.

Thread Together Captured Design
Ball Joints press in from the bottom of the C. Aluminum lock nut and Top Cap Thread on to capture the joints so there is no possibility of the Joint pulling out.
Load Bearing Joints
Pre-load on MetalCloak upper Ball Joints share force-loads from the lower joint and divide the load between both pivot locations unlike most "other" ball joints.

Bearing Races
The Concave Bearing Races are high impact shock resistant machined and heat treated tool steel with maximum surface contact to spread force loads, this allows more pre-load relief while still resisting memory steer. Races are indexed to prevent rotation inside the ball joint housing.

The included wrench is specially designed and laser cut to precisely fits the lower ball joint lock ring and allows for ease of installation. The wrench is made of laser cut 3/16" hot rolled steel, the tool is finished in gold zinc for a classic premium look and long lasting MetalCloak quality.
