JL Wrangler Lower Rear Shock Relocation & Clearance Kit
MetalCloak’s Jeep JL Wrangler Shock Relocation & Clearance Kit is a precision bolt-on upgrade designed specifically for the 6Pak Black Shocks. It enhances suspension performance by improving shock positioning, increasing ground clearance, and allowing for more refined fitment of long-travel shock systems.

The brackets are designed with a built-in outboard offset to ensure proper clearance for the larger shock bodies found on 6Pak Black shocks. This spacing prevents contact with the frame or suspension components during full articulation, allowing your shocks to perform smoothly through their complete range of motion.
This kit is installed easily requiring no cutting, welding, or major modifications. The bolt-on design makes it accessible to both seasoned builders and weekend garage installers who want professional-grade results without the hassle of permanent fabrication.
The shock relocation mount allows you to safely trim up to 1.5 inches of the low-hanging factory bracket (if you choose) by relocating the lower shock mount upward. The result is increased clearance beneath the vehicle, reducing the risk of hang-ups and impact damage while tackling rocky or uneven terrain.
The shock mounts are finished in gold zinc plating to provide exceptional resistance to rust and corrosion. This durable coating not only protects against the harsh elements of mud, salt, and moisture but also gives the components a clean, professional appearance.
