The Heavy Duty Front Driveshaft is a tremendous upgrade over stock, increasing strength and providing the features you need for lifted applications on Jeep JL Wranglers & JT Gladiators.

2" outer diameter provides needed clearance at the cross member and exhaust [click for more...] and increases durability with a thicker wall diameter. The pre-balanced and pre-measured driveshafts are built to the correct length for each lift height.

Slip shafts are serviceable and have internal seals instead of the vulnerable "accordion" boot that come on stock Jeeps.

The constant velocity driveshaft is specially designed for MetalCloak Suspension Systems, have strong double cardan 1350 universal joints, are fitted with grease zerks for easy servicing, provide vibration free movement with incredible durability, and are made in the USA.

Drive shafts are ready for installation and come with all the needed hardware and replacement yoke.

Note: Does not fit 4xE-JL Wranglers .

THE TECH

392 JL Wrangler Front Driveshaft

The MetalCloak Front Driveshaft is 2" in diameter for better clearance of the cross member and exhaust. The Front Driveshaft is pre-balanced and pre-measured for correct length and thicker tube material over stock for increased strength. These constant velocity driveshaft have been specially designed for MetalCloak Suspension Systems.

When lifting a vehicle the factory driveshaft can bind at the transfer case side and the factory driveshaft is to short for additional travel. An aftermarket driveshaft clears the t-case and is optimal for maximum travel.
