Unlike emulsion style bumps that require heat buildup before they function properly, the HydraStrike piston design with internal reservoir delivers consistent damping performance from the very first hit. Whether dropping off an obstacle or [click for more...] absorbing repeated high-speed hits, HydraStrike maintains predictable control from the first impact.

The HydraStrike Disogrin seals are used to deliver exceptional sealing performance and long-term wear resistance in harsh off-road environments. These oversized industry leading seals provide a larger contact surface that better resists contamination, reduces leakage, and maintains consistent damping performance over time. Providing a hydraulic bump that stays smooth, reliable, and serviceable even after repeated harsh impacts.

The massive 5/8” wide Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lined shaft bearing is built into the HydraStrike to better distribute side loads and reduce friction under compression. This wider bearing improves stability during angled or high-speed impacts, minimizing shaft deflection and premature wear. The PTFE lining ensures smooth operation without binding, all while extending the service life in demanding off-road conditions.

The HydraStrike body threads allow direct compatibility with existing Fox weld-in mounts allowing upgrading simple for users already running Fox hardware, eliminating the need for cutting, re-welding, or replacing mounts. It provides a true bolt-in performance upgrade path that saves time and money.

Each HydraStrike includes a molded rubber strike pad with an integrated steel core to refine impact feel and reduce noise at full compression. This design softens harsh bottom outs while maintaining durability, making it ideal for daily drivers and trail rigs. The steel core ensures long-term strength without sacrificing performance.

HydraStrike is built around a .125” wall tube shaft, providing a substantial strength advantage over the thinner .085” wall designs. This thicker shaft improves resistance to bending and deformation under extreme loads, increasing durability during hard impacts and aggressive driving. Giving you the confidence to push your suspension to its limits.

Front HydraStrike Hydraulic Nitrogen Charged Bump Stops

Incredible Strength

HydraStrike is built around a .125” wall tube shaft, providing a substantial strength advantage over the thinner .085” wall designs. This thicker shaft improves resistance to bending and deformation under extreme loads, increasing durability during hard impacts and aggressive driving. Giving you the confidence to push your suspension to its limits.

Internal Reservoir

The HydraStrike’s internal reservoir is engineered to maintain a precise nitrogen charge while keeping it completely separated from the shock oil. This separation eliminates foaming, stabilizes pressure, and ensures damping remains consistent no matter how hard the suspension is pushed. It’s a design focused on durability, consistency, and uncompromising off-road performance.

Molded Rubber Strike Pad

CUSTOMER QUESTIONS
Will metalcloak have these bump stops available for the TJ in the near future
We have not tested them yet for the TJ application. The TJ’s are lighter and the Durospring is normally a better option.
These will work for the added weight for the diesel engine?
These will work well with the diesel... and the 392 as well.
What if you have stock ones now?
The HydraStrike hydraulic bump stops replace the Uppers and are specifically designed for high speed performance.
What is the length and outside dimensions?
These are designed to fit into the stock upper tower housing on the JK/JL and JT model jeeps. The body is 2.15” diameter and 6.25 long. The bump stop is 2” travel.
Is it rebuildable?
The HydraStrike is a fully rebuildable and serviceable hydraulic bump stop. We have service kits available if needed.
I didn't see a Rear in the catalog, are there plans to make a rear hydrastrike set as well?
We are actively working on finishing the rear mounting for the JL. The rear for the JT was just released on 5-13-26.
