The monotube construction of the RockSport Silver 2.0 provides consistent damping and superior heat dissipation compared to traditional twin-tube shocks. With a monotube design, the shock oil stays cooler, allowing it to maintain performance during long, demanding runs where heat can lead to shock fade.

The nitrogen charge in the shock helps prevent aeration and foaming of the hydraulic oil, a common cause of shock fade. By keeping the oil and gas separate, dampening remains consistent, even during extended runs over rough terrain.

The RockSport Silver 2.0 shocks are equipped with oversized 18mm chrome-plated shafts. The larger diameter provides greater resistance to bending or damage when the suspension is under extreme load, such as when navigating heavy rocks or sudden drops. The chrome finish reduces friction and wear, ensuring long service life and consistent performance in even the harshest conditions.

The Front Lower Outboard Shock Mounts are engineered to move the lower shock mounting location away from the Jeeps frame rails for additional clearance by rotating the eyelet 90 degrees allowing the shock to swing with the axle vs binding on the lower bushing.
